Urban Creativity. Essays on interventions in public space

Editor

  • Erik Hannerz
  • Peter Bengtsen

Summary, in English

Urban Creativity encompasses a collection of texts that examine interventions that challenge the order, meaning and function of the city. The authors draw on their backgrounds in different fields, including Sociology, Economy, Law, Art History & Visual Studies, and Urban Studies, to investigate unauthorized phenomena like graffiti and street art, the Occupy movement and the free party movement.

The texts are partly a result of the work done in the interdisciplinary Urban Creativity IAS Theme at The Pufendorf Institute for Advanced Studies at Lund University (2018-2019).
